Shreya’s Design Studio offers high-quality graphic design services to small businesses and professionals. After completing an intensive Communication Design program at Emily Carr University, Shreya has been using her talent as a graphic designer within the food industry for the past five years. During this time, she recognized the need for high-quality graphic design services for small businesses, which led to the establishment of Shreya's Design Studio.
Shreya believes that the most effective way to connect with a business target audience is through proper visuals. Her process includes interacting with the client’s customers to understand their needs and proposition values. By following this process, she can then devise a research-based creative brief and develop simple, unique and original ideas.
She is inspired by her mother who is a talented artist herself. Her mother instilled in her a sense of creativity and design that only grew stronger as she grew up. From an early age, Shreya was focused on art and drawing. Drawing became a way of self-expression; a way to tell her story without having to use words. So, a lot of the ideas she finds appealing are the ones that do not require much explanation and are rather instinctive.
Throughout the college days, she was fortunate enough to intern with various ad agencies and start-ups. Through her work experience, Shreya learned how to work with clients and develop a creative process. Growing up in India, she always wanted to see other cultures and connect with people from different backgrounds. She chose to come to Canada, an ethnically diverse and multicultural nation, to begin this new chapter in her life.
